Captain Dan's Fishing Report
Last Tuesday alone, we caught mutton snapper, true red snapper, cubera snapper, black grouper, gag grouper, yellow jack, almaco jack, amberjack, african pompano, cobia, and at least 4 different species of sharks with the biggest being a bull shark over 300 lbs. Bottom fishing has been red hot in 180 ft to 210 ft of water that is only 7 miles from the dock. Out in the blue water, from 120 ft to 550 ft, we are catching dolphin (mahi mahi), blackfin tuna, sailfish, wahoo, barracuda, bonito and king mackerel.
