Just got back from another awesome and memorable trip with my good friend capt. dan for the july 4th weekend. We got a break in the weather and headed west lookin for snapper and whatever else gets close enough to get its lips stretched. we started out pretty good with some nice muttons pushin 15 lbs until i hooked into about a 7 1/2 ft reef shark that gave me bout a 20 min fight it felt like. we got it all the way to the boat before the mono snapper rig gave in but i was just happy to see him. we then headed back east and came across a rediculous school of snapper averaging almost 5 lbs. until a hell of a storm pushed us out. the next day we loaded up on pinfish and headed back and between us and the fish we were all wore out. not to mention all the boats around us were hardly bending a rod. goes to show what years of experience in the keys and all over can do. if u really wanna make the best of your trip to the keys and key west make sure u book a trip with capt. dan and mike...u wont regret it.

Thank you soooo much for the wonderful day! You and Mike really worked hard to find us fish and we appreciate all your hard work. Catchingt the Permit was so much fun and we look forward to fishing with you and Mike again. The girls have decided our goal for the next trip is to get blood on Mike's pretty white shirt!! :-)

Had THE best time fishing. We wanted to catch a dolphin and the second or third stop we reeled one in. We also caught 6 permit fish, they said the most in one day to date, they were simply everywhere, they scouted out a school of them and it was impossible for us not to get them. We also caught many yellow snappers. Mike hustled all the rods better than I've seen before and seemed like Dan had really sharp eagle eyes and spotted a huge hammer head shark for us and it was truely a spectacular experience and trip, never a dull moment and ALWAYS reeling something in. Thank you very much Dan and Mike for this trip, couldn't have been more satisified.

What a great time! My wife and one other couple joined up with Second Nature for a day of fishing. We couldn’t thank Capt. Dan and Mike for showing us a really great time. They were determined to get us on some fish and it didn’t take long to make that happen. Sharks, Yellow-tail, Barracuda, Amberjacks and a beautiful African Pampano… were all on the list of fish that we had the privilege to catch. Being rookies to deep sea fishing, they made us feel incredibly comfortable and answered a ton of questions about fishing, boating and the waters we were surrounded by. Bottom line, we will be coming back to fish with the Second Nature and would recommend anyone to do the same without a second thought.
Captain Dan, Mike and Jeanette, thanks again for a great experience…see you guys again real soon.

Thank you Captain Dan and Mike. This was by far the best fishing experience I have ever had. It far exceeded my expectations, and it is apparent that you are both excellent fishermen. Today was so exciting as we caught cobia, mutton snapper, porgy, and even shark. You guys were consistent and worked so hard to make sure we all had a good time. Thank you for all of your hard work and talent. This was an experience I will always remember, and I can’t wait to eat some of this great fish. We will definitely be back.

Capt.s Dan and Mike,
Thanks for a great half-day trip - really enjoyed it. If we had only managed to land that monster wahoo!
To readers: Capt.s Dan and Mike showed us a great time. There were four of us, and I was the only experienced fisherman. Dan and MIke did a great job explaining everything to the newbies, and we all had a blast. Looking forward to our next Key West trip!

I just got back from several days of fishing with Capt. Dan and it was amazing as usual we started out catching some 3 to 5 ft sharks not 45 min after i drove into key west thats a good way to get started. The next day we did some trolling and got into some small dolphin and had a couple sailfish come up and have a whack at our ballyhoo but no takers. Then dan and i decided to get a lil crazy and pull an all nighter which turned out to be awesome we anchored in 90 ft and caught a few nice muttons and got my biggest jewfish bout 100 lbs but was short lived when we moved out to 134 ft and i fired down half a mutton snapper that a cuda left us with earlier and the big boy grabbed it and headed for the wreck i finally got him up and couldnt believe it he must have weighed close to 350 it was amazing. we then stayed up all night and slayed the muttons up to 17lbs,yellowtail, and dan got a nice cobia. we finished up the week with some more trolling and i got to see my first sailfish caught and released even though i didnt reel it in i was just excited to be there. Thanks again dan for everything especially the memories i will never forget hope to get back down there and fish with ya soon.
