I Strongly recommend Captain Dan for your next fishing trip...he is simply the very best. Professional, dedicated, and funny. I'm currently home for my 15 day R&R leave from Afghanistan and my family and I decided to stay a week in Key West. Totally worth it...everyone went out of their way to ensure we had an enjoyable experience. Dan and his first mate ensured we came home with a cooler full of FISH. I caught a tuna as well as a multitude of other fine sea creatures. I will remember this special day for many years. Again, Dan is the best and is my number 1 choice for our next fishing excursion. Came down with my son to visit my good friend Randy and do a few days of fishing. Told him I wanted to fish with this Captain Dan he has been bragging on. We fished two days with Dan and were not disappointed. He put us on the fish. Mutton, Tuna, Jack, Mahi, sharks. You name it. Two great days of fishing and two coolers with over 75 lbs of fish to check as baggage. Life is good! Good Job Dan.

Captain Dan is king of the Key West big fish! We packed more laughs and big fish into his boat in a day than all the other boats within a hundred miles of us combined. Great fun and great fishing with a quality guy who really knows his craft. Hats off to you Captain Dan.
Cheers,
Don

Me and my friends went out with Captain Dan with one mission, we wanted to catch fish. Big Fish. Capt Dan suggested that we should do some angling for shark and we did. After 20minutes of fishing with a little shark that got loose, We got something big on the sharkrod. After 35 minutes of fighting we landed a 150pound Carribean Reef Shark, not long after that we got a fight with an 8feet Hammerhead! An hour later we caught one more Hammerhead! We also got some Red Stripers. This was a fishingtour of a lifetime, and Capt Dan really knows what he is doing. Thank you guys for a lifetime memory! Best reg/Hakan

Jessie Lyn, Trav, Cathy, and I fished with Captain Dan on December 30th, 2010. We anchored up in depths from 140-210 ft of water and had constant action throughout the day. We primarily fished the bottom and had two flatlines out on the surface rigged with live ballyhoo. Right off the bat, we hooked and successfully landed a solid sailfish. Afterwards, the bottom bite began to heat up. Everyone started catching big mutton snapper ranging from 5-17 lbs. All of a sudden, the tuna started exploding on our flatlines and we started wearing out tuna after tuna all in the 20 lb range. Or should I say, the tuna were wearing us out! We ended our day with 10 big blackfin tuna, 9 mutton snapper, 1 sailfish, dolphin (mahi-mahi), and kingfish. What a way to end 2010!! I would like to thank my good friend Captain Dan for another outstanding day on the water! The weather is cooler but the fishing is red hot! If you want to put some fish in the freezer, take A LOT of fishing photos, and have some great memories on the water, book a trip!! I guarantee you will not be disappointed!

This was my first time fishing with Capt. Dan and it was AMAZING! Can't wait to come back and book another trip! It was the perfect way to spend the holidays and we definately got everything we wished for! In just a few minutes we were catching live ballyhoo for bait and our first fish in the boat was a SAILFISH! Even though the weather was rough, we were able to fill up 2 full coolers with huge mutton snapper and blackfin tuna! Capt. Dan and Andrew were awesome to hang out with all day and puts you on fish quick! Highly recommended if you want to see what bluewater fishing is all about!

Holy Crap! It was an amazing day. My day started about an hour after my night ended so I took dip at the dock... that will cure your ills (or give you some new ones) quickly! Our day started out a little slow but it picked up fast. We tried to cast for bait but there wasn\'t anything there, but Cpt Dan was prepared... he broke out some stuff he had from the day before. Everyone on the boat was catching Kingfish, we got a barracuda and a dolphinfish. I got two amber jacks, one was 30 lbs!!! I highly reccommend Dan\'s charter to anyone who wants to catch fish and have a blast!

Wow! Closed out 2010 in style with Capt. Dan!! We left the slip at 6:00am in winds 20+ with hopes to catch a few sailfish and mutton snapper. Shortly after anchoring on the reef, the ballyhoo were dancing in the chum slick. With a few casts of the net, we had a livewell full of sailfish candy and were ready to wreck some fish. With seas pushing 3-4' and the wind howling, we ended up anchored up to fish the USS Vandenburg in 140'. Not 10 min after we were setup, the flat went screaming and we were hooked up with our first fish... a sailfish! After a short but rough battle, the fish was landed, photographed, and released unharmed. Now that we were all pumped, it was showtime!! Flat lines were going off left and right and the blackfin tuna bite came alive!! The first fish to the boat was over 20 lbs and they just kept coming. Blackfin were exploding schools of ballyhoo within 20 yards of our stern and the gaff stayed wet for a couple hours!! After filling our first cooler to the brim with tuna and a beautiful sailfish under our belt, we headed to 210' to fish some structure for monster mutton snapper. As always, we started pounding fish on a mixed flavor of cut and live ballyhoo. We caught a handful of slabs over 15 lbs and a few more smaller ones, perfect for snapper sandwiches!! Also mixed in the box were mahi mahi and a cuda bit kingfish. With TWO COOLERS slap full of fish, wore out arms, the sun setting and big smiles, we headed back to the dock with flags flyin' from the rigger!!! It truly was an awesome day of fishing which seems to come "Second Nature" to Capt. Dan! If you haven't fish with him yet, you're missing out on some top- notch, quality fishing!!!!
