Thanks Captain Dan & mate Garret for a great fishing trip !!! The PBO TV crew was able to get some spectacular footage for future episodes of our show, Point Blank Outdoors - as seen on the Sportsman Channel. from the gear & body abusing we recieved from Goliath Grouper and it's raw power to the beauty and aerial leaps of the sailfish or big toothy smiles of the sharks and lets not forget all the delicious Grouper,Snapper & Tuna we also got on this trip. Very exciting hooking that monster Tarpon. Exactly what I was hoping I would do. Did you get any good pics? We. unfortunately didn't get any good ones that show the true size of the fish (you said about 140lbs). We went out on Memorial Day, 2012

It was our first time fishing in the ocean. We had a great experience with Captain Dan and first mate Garret. We booked a six hour trip and caught sharks, snapper, and grouper. We had a wonderful time and Dan and Garret were very helpful and easy going. We would highly recommend anyone from first timers to experienced fisherman to book with them.

May 13, five pals and i had a awesome fishing trip with cap Dan. Kings, Ajs, and yellow tail snappers. Great day on the water, he put us wright on the fish. I definitely will be booking another trip when I make it back to the keys. Thanks to his mate as well, he really worked hard to make it easy on us. Thanks for the trip I had a great time.

We had a great time! Trolling was slow but Capt. Dan was still able to put us on fish. Capt. Dan and First Mate Garrett made sure we had a blast. We go to the keys every year and will definitely fish with Capt. Dan in the future.

We had a blast today May 10th 2012 with Capt. Dan! Mahi Mahi fishing was great and Capt. Dan put us right on the fish. Garrett did an awesome job keeping the lines baited and in the water. We headed out for a 3/4 day trip with Capt. Dan and First Mate Sean on the Second Nature on April 23, 2012. What a great time we had!. We caught a huge Grouper and some snapper and yellowtails along with 5- 40 plus pound Amberjacks. Matthew is 11 and this was his first time deep sea fishing. Capt. Dan and Sean were a huge help to him and my wife. They were able to hook and reel in some very large fish! Capt. Dan and Sean were very helpful, informative, and fun to be with. We would highly recommend a trip with the Second Nature and we will be sure to go out with them again the next time we are in Key West!

I have made three separate trips down to Key West (from Miami) over the past 10 months to fish with Capt. Dan Zier on Second Nature charters (www.fishinkeys.com). My brother and I just returned from two memorable days of fishing. Not only is Dan an amazing fishing captain, he is a hell of a nice guy and very down to earth. Every trip out with Dan has been fantastic and this past weekend was epic. In one day, we caught more big Mutton Snappers than i've seen in my entire life, loads of Kings and tunas, dorados, including a massive 40+ pound bull dolphin, just an incredible day. This is the type of experience that is possible when you fish with Capt. Dan Zier. I have literally fished all over the world and Dan is the best Captain ANYWHERE! If you love to fish, you would be a complete fool not to immediately travel to Key West and fish with Capt. Dan. I just left and I cannot wait to get back. Many charter captains want to get paid and they could care less about catching much. Capt. Dan Zier loves fishing more than you do, I guarantee that and he will do everything possible to give you a great day of fishing, often leading you to beg for mercy, your arms are hurting so much from cranking on huge fish after fish! Do yourself and your friends a favor and book a trip now, you won't be sorry.

My brother and I have fished with Captain Dan many times and he never disappoints. We have fished in many different countries, with many different fishing captains, and Dan is the best, hands down. It is not just because he is an amazing fisherman with great experience, knowledge, and skill. It is not just because we catch a ton of fish (see blog) of all varieties. It is because of his true love and passion for the sport of fishing. He is more excited than we are to make a great catch, and he has tremendous fun doing it. No-one outworks this guy. He has top of the line gear - i guarantee it is the best is the keys, he always catches fresh bait. He is dedicated to his craft, and this makes the whole experience incredible. I will never fish with anyone else in the keys.
