I'd like to thank the guys on Second Nature. My family had a great time Tarpon fishing. 3 Tarpon (all over 100lbs with the biggest around 130lbs) and one 5 foot shark in 4 hours. I couldn't have asked for anything more. The guys took great care of my kids and made the whole family feel comfortable. My kids will be talking about this for weeks and complaining about sore arms from the non-stop fishing! Thanks for everything! Great trip for a family; I would highly recommend it to everyone!!!!!!

To start off Captain Dan was great along with the 1st mate Andrew they gave us exactly what we wanted a GOOD TIME and LOTS OF FISH ! they catered to every need they are very prompt! We had booked a 8 hour trip so we could hit every possible secret spot. there was 3 people onboard not including capt and mate and 2 of us wanted 2 different kinds of fish my father wanted grouoper and snapper and myself longed for mahi and we caught everything we wanted. We started the day off hitting the deep blue for mahi with the 1st mate driving the boat and with capt dan filling the mate position it showed me that himself is actually a fisherman and enjoys it NOT just out to get your money as other boats. After about a 40 min boat ride we dropped lines and soon as the lines hit the water boom a nice sized bonita dropped lines back out and chased a bird for about 5 mins and caught a 30 lb mahi, then chased down some other birds and ran on some schoolies caught 4 between 5-10 lbs,then it slowed a bit then boom outta no where a nice 13lb blackfin tuna. We headed in to do some grouper and snapper fishing were we caught again exactly what we wanted some really nice 7lb mutton snappers and a small amber jack lost a few muttons to a big goliath grouper so i said i have always wanted to catch a goliath and capt dan told andrew to grab the (MAN STICK) LOL and boy was it ever the ultimate fishing rod and reel more like a winch haha cut up that bonita from earlier in the day and threw it overboard and within seconds a nice 8ft blacktip shark almost pulled me over seriously wasnt expecting it to happen that fast whewwww got it to the boat and he snapped line but no problem he re-rigged the man stick for that grouper and as soon as it hit the bottom it was on a 150-200lb gag grouper needless to say had a great time with the second nature and crew deffinatly will be back soon

We did two days with Capt. Dan and Andrew...one day blue water fishing and one day of tarpon fishing. We had a great time on both gigs! Dan and Andrew are extremely knowledgeable and great teachers. They will put you on fish and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a Charter Guide service out of Key West. THANKS DAN and ANDREW!!!

My family and i Fished two days with captain Dan and Andrew... Had a great time on both trips... Both guys were wonderful and very helpful throughout the trips... Second trip we caught 5 black grouper and a few other things... I highly recommend these guys... Will definitely book with him again

Hey guys the past two days have been great..this is definitely the best charter in the keys..we got hooked up with some massive blacks and tons of yellow tail..y'all are very respectful and kind..captain Dan and Andrew are very friendly and know just about everything there is to know about were the fish are..they will definintly get u hooked up on the fish..I can't wait for next year to go fishing with SECOND NATURE FISHING CHARTER!!!!!

It was my wife\'s first time fishing and she caught two big Tarpon..Hooked up every time we put a rod in the water!

This comment is long overdue! Fishing on Second Nature with Captain Dan is the ultimate in fishing! I have fished with Captain Dan with my good buddy Kevin the Shark Lover several times and each time gets better and better. Captain Dan knows where the fish are and caters each trip towards what we want. Recently I caught my first permit and now I know why everyone loves catching them. What a blast! I have been put on some of the best fishing and many of my first fish thanks to Captain Dan. You will NOT find another Captain and crew as eager as these guys to make it the most enjoyable trip and find you the most fish...can't wait to fish with you guys again soon! Tight lines Captain Dan!

After being quite impressed with last year's fishing with Captin Dan and the crew, me, my sister, and my father naturally wanted to come back down to try to get another great trip in. All I can say is that we weren't disappointed. Fishing for two days we caught two big sailfish (my younger sister catching a 90+ inch sail and me catching a 85 inch sail), some Mahi Mahi dinner, plenty of Permit (very fun!), and two hard fighting tarpon (the one I caught was roughly 120 pounds). All I can say is that I'm looking forward to a third fishing trip next year and more to come!

Dan and Andrew,

Yesterday we had a blast fishing for the first time. Taylor absolutely loves fishing, and had a great time learning how to. She constantly will talk about how it was "her fish" that she caught and we still quote her famous line "I think I got something..." Both of you were great and we hope to come back and fish with you two again! I hope you have a great season and were looking forward to sharing the experience with everyone back home!
