I can not praise Capt. Dan enough! What a wonderful trip. Capt Dan and Capt Dave are first class with a knowledge of fishing that I have never seen before! The boat is immaculate and comfortable. This team is amazing.

What's up Capt Dan!? Let me just say if you want to fish with someone who knows how to fish and fish hard, then you want to hit up Capt Dan on the Second Nature! My buddies and i fished with Dan for 5 days and it was awesome. We caught a plethora of species everyday. As a serious fisherman I never thought i would say this, but i was tired of catching fish after the last day. This man has passion and determination to put you on some good fish. There is no need to look any further than right here!

This was my second time fishing with Capt. Dan and I have to say he is the most knowledgeable captain I have ever had the pleasure of fishing with. No matter the conditions he seems to always find the fish. On top of that he is the only captain that has actually taken the time to stop and teach me anything I asked from riggin ballyhoo for trolling to coaching me on finessing big fish. Thanks for everything Dan I will definately be back in the near future one day we will make it to the tortugas..lol I'm thankful to be able to come fish in the keys with yall and thankful to call yall my friends.

Just got back from spending a week on the water with Capt. Dan and some of my close friends and we had a blast as usual. Even when the bite slows down just being on the boat with Dan and Skip is always entertaining. We spent two days reef fishing and loaded up on yellowtail and muttons. We also landed some monster permit, a 9ft. lemon shark and an estimated 400 lb. jewfish that took 5 of us to land definately something i will never forget. We then spent 2 days in the blue water and just crushed the big dolphin. Besides 2 schoolies our smallest fish was 15lbs. and our biggest in the 40lb. range that actually ate 2 baits and came after the teaser. On top of that we got a nice blackfin, a kingfish and had a sailfish whack 4 baits and miss 4 hooks but it was exciting.

Excuse the late entry but I felt compelled to let anyone interested in experiencing a fantastic day on the water with plenty of fish action know that they are only a phone call away from booking the "Second Nature" piloted by a truly skilled and knowledgeable captain. On May 7th, we booked Capt. Dan with a request to take some novice fishermen and put them on some action. Let me say that everyone came back totally extatic and exhausted from battleing monster fish, Capt. Dan and Mike were fantastic at every level in making sure this was a milestone experience for everyone.
Can't ask for a better team of professionals who modestly "walk the walk" and are serious about making their charter sucessful and enjoyable. We will be back Captain!!! Thanks.

I just spent 2 days fishing with Captain Daniel and Mike. I have never seen two guys work so hard on a charter boat. They put our group on fish everyday. We caught every species of fish in the keys. If you are coming to the Keys for fish, give Captain Dan a call. You will not be sorry !

On bottom fishing in Key West.....Being an avid bottom angler for many years , mostly fishing up north (Montauk Point) in deep water using heavy lead I have experienced the same success that I have in Key West while in Key West for the past 15 years. Although I have caught numerous fish while bottom fishing in Key West and have seen some large groupers and muttons caught (some by me) I have never seen anyone consistantly slam big fish all day. I have done many charters with key west boats, trolling using both out riggers and down riggers with great success but still I preferr bottom fishing. Many times charter boats have talked me out of bottom fishing for trolling. On April 22, 2009 I chartered out a boat called Second nature run by Capt Dan and Capt Skip, going bottom fishing in deep water. Using live bait provided by Capt Dan I caught 14 mutton snappers and 6 aamico jacks. At least 10 of the muttons were over 10 pounds, and 5 were about 15 pounds. I thank Capt Dan for his professionalizim and enthusiasim and will lokk forward to fishing with him again. Jesse Fisher

Danny is the best! We come down to Key West every 2-3 months and always catch fish no matter what. We have caught all sorts of great eating fishing like Snapper, Grouper, tile-fish, Tuna, Mahi-Mahi, to amberjacks, sailfish, all sorts of shark, Tarpon, Barracuda, and many other gamefish. He is the best with my kids and very accommodating at the spur of the moment. Once going out with Dan and/or his dad, Dave, you will never want or need to go with anyone else!

See you soon and keep the lines tight...

No other captain even comes close to captain Dan and his dad, they have better experience than any other person in Florida. Every time I go there one of them help catch a huge fish, from snapper to sailfish, I always have a fun fishing trip.

P.S. The toth's will be at Key West in 2-3 days.
