My father, son, and I did a fishing trip with Dan and his crew today and had a great experience mostly bottom fishing. Dan was well planned with various types of baits and he put us on various types of fish. We wanted to bottom fish and and we caught some big fish. I did a lot of research and planning to find the right Captain so my dad and son would have a great experience. Dan did not let us down!

Capt. Dan,

Thanks for your post of the picture of the boys with their fish heads with the shark bites on your page! This picture will alway have a great story behind it. The boys were very excited to see their picture on your website. The boys are still talking about the fishing as we head back to the Orlando airport. Thanks again for the great time fishing Key West! Great first time charter fiishing experience for our family. First mate Garrett was great!!! The boys really enjoy talking and fishing with him! Thanks for getting us hooked up on fish all day long! No one wanted to go home! Thanks for recommending Dantes (we told them you recommended them). They did a great job cooking the fish! Thanks in advance for sending your pictures of the boys fishing. Send us the Tripadvisor link. We would love to give you a big thumps up!

Thanks,
John, Starlene, Dajen, Garrett and Jacob

Thanks Captian Dan for a great 2 days of fishing. Caught the Sailfish I requested. You listened to my requests and gave me the fishing trip I wanted. Garret was a great first mate. Six foot waves the first day and 8 footer+ the second day created a ride anamusment park could not supply. The mixed bag included enough eating fish for us to eat well for three days and the release of a 200 pound 8 foot sand shark (my arms are still sore) and a sting ray with a 6 foot wing span. The picture of my sweeties 81 inch Sailfish that was boated, after mine was released because we had two Sailfish on at once is now my desktop background. Again thanks for a great 2 days of fishing and we will be back in late May for Tarpon and Marlin

Cap't Dan took us out fishing. It was our 1st time fishing on a charter. It was AMAZING! 1st we started by getting live bait. Dan showed our son how to scoop the bait & put it into the live well. Then we headed out to fish. Between Dan & the his 1st mate they helped our son reel in yellowtail after yellowtail after yellowtail. His arms were sore from all the reeling & I think his face was sore from all the smiles! We caught a few other fish that had to be thrown back too. My husband's goal for the entire family vacation was to "catch a shark". Capt Dan spotted one...and my husband got his wish with a sandshark! Our daughter had a blast watching all the excitement & reeling in a few for herself too! It was a wonderful day and one none of us will ever forget! If you want to have fun & be successful....you NEED to fish with Capt Dan & his crew!

Thanks CPT Dan and Garret for a great three days on the water! Six US ARMY guys charted with CPT Dan for three days over the Christmas holidays 2012 and we had a fantastic time. CPT Dan put us on the fish everyday and we caught a huge variety of great fish; Pelagic\'s on top and mutton snapper with plenty of other good eating fish down low. CPT Dan will tailor the fishing to your skills and preferences, making a fun and productive day for all. As a bonus CPT Dan hooked us up with awesome recommendations and intro\'s around Key West with restaurants that cooked our fish and treated us like VIPs. He goes above and beyond to help clients enjoy all aspects of the Keys. CPT Dan also respects the military and provides a hefty discount for our troops which made our three full days on the water a real bargain. Dan\'s mate Garrrit worked extra hard to keep baits down and fresh, not an easy task with the six of us but a critical aspect to the success of each days catch. Of course the Colonel - Key West Six - caught the biggest fish with a beauty of a sailfish; the CPT and mate should their boat handling skills to make sure the old guy got the fish......and won the pool! If you are coming to Key West, fish with CPT Dan on the Second Nature for an excellent day on the water that guarantees you will catch fish.

Michele and I had a great trip with Captain Shawn. Dan couldn\'t make it but Shawn put us on some good fish. We had rough conditions so we were only in about 30 feet of water, but we caught a wide assortment of fish. At one time we couldn\'t keep the Ballywoo in the water the Mackeral were biting so fierce!
Thanks Garrett and Shawn!

This is definitely the boat you want for your next deep sea fishing trip in Key West!! Capt. Dan and Garrett could not have been better at their passion for fishing. At one point we 'lost' a large mutton snapper that was almost to the boat, but Garrett kept a keen eye on the surface. Sure enough, the snapper surfaced on it's side about 25 ft off the port. Before we even saw it, Garrett shouted 'there it is!', and dove over the side - net in hand - to retrieve the catch. I've been on many DS fishing trips, but this was the first time I've ever seen a mate do that. We will definitely see the Second Nature again next year!
