Muttons, Tuna, and Monster Amberjack.

Muttons, Tuna, and Monster Amberjack.

Today we fished with two good friends of ours from Miami. We started off fishing a massive wreck in 150 feet of water that has been holding a lot of fish lately. We got a few Muttons there which ended up being the biggest ones of the day, all three around 12 pounds. We pushed out to 220 feet of water to work some live bottom. There we got into some nice Amberjacks. We kept 2 of the 4 AJ's we landed, the biggest one being 55 pounds. Also we put a nice 23 pound Black Fin Tuna in the cooler at the same spot. We worked back into the fish the edge of the reef for the last few hours, there we topped the cooler off with Mutton Snappers, and released a 25 pound Black Grouper and a 10 pound Gag Grouper. (The Grouper were released due to the season closure extending from January up until April.)
