fishing today was red hot. we started wreck fishing in 180ft south of Key West. first we drifted live pin fish 15 to 20ft off the bottom and got 4 amber jack up to 30 lbs and a Goliath grouper over 125lbs. it took a few minutes trying to get the air out of hem but he finally went down. then i anchored into the wreck and dropped big strips of jack and mackerel to the bottom. we hooked 3 more monster Goliath grouper but couldn't stop them. locked drag on 100lb class rod with 130lb braid wasn't enough. at least 6 or more big big sharks were hooked but not landed. after that i tried trolling from 250ft to 65ft. 1 barracuda, 7 bonito, and 2 king fish were caught with most of the action in 120ft. we wanted to land a shark so i anchored back up this time in 110ft of water with some fresh bonito strips on the bottom it didn't take long. a 7ft hammerhead broke the leader at the surface and a 30lb cuba the last 40min of the day
