35lb black

35lb black

Yesterday we mixed it up a bit! I started out in shallow for a few 12 to 14in yellow tail snapper. I wanted a few for bait and some for the dinner table. After some shallow water snapper fishing i pushed out to a wreck in 190ft in search of big amber jacks and grouper. After a few great drifts over the wreck I dropped anchor on the edge of the reef in 122ft. There we put live pin fish and strips of bonito in search of big snapper and sharks with big teeth. Every spot the action was non stop! We caught 12 yellow tail snapper, 1 keeper red grouper, 1 35lb black grouper, 5 Amber jacks, up to 30lbs, 4 mutton snapper up to 15lbs, 4 caribbean reef sharks all over 150lbs and had a sail on for about 2 min. All the jacks and sharks were released using circle hooks
