Hammerhead, Goliath Grouper, Muttons

Hammerhead, Goliath Grouper, Muttons

We started off the day trolling dead ballyhoo for dolphin. Wow was it tough out there. The South wind had broken all the grass up and it was scattered everywhere. You couldn't keep a bait clear of it. After quickly realizing we weren't gonna get it done out there we slid in and anchored up in 205 feet. It took some time but finally a Mutton hit. The fish was the biggest Mutton on the day well over 15 pounds. The next fish ended up being a 7 foot hammerhead shark that we fought for about 45 minutes. After another Mutton we slid into 140 feet to load up on some Yellowtails. We also sent a big bait down to the front of the wreck and hooked a 350 pound Goliath Grouper. We vented and released the fish after the intense fight.
