i started the day drifting over a ship wreck in 170ft of water about 7 miles south of key west. wile on the drift we hooked only two fish the first was a 35lb amber jack and the other was a bonito on a butterfly jig. right after we landed the jack i spotted a 8ft hammerhead shark on the surface. we got a bait right in front of hem but he got spooked and went down.  the hammerheads are migrating threw right now i see one or two almost every day. after that i anchored in 120ft to try for some  snapper for dinner. even though the current was going to the bow the guys did pretty good. we got 8 mutton snapper and 1 big yellow tail. toward the end the sharks got bad and they cut two of the mutton's right under the boat. the biggest mutton of the day got bit in half most likely by a bull shark
