Muttons, Mangroves, Yellowjacks

Muttons, Mangroves, Yellowjacks

We ran two trips todays. The morning trip was an eight hour from 8 to 4 and we started off trolling. It was pretty slow there for a while until we found some Dolphin under a few birds. They didn't have much size to them and we only got one keeper. After no more action we headed in from the blue water to try for some Muttons. The bite here was tough as well and we only boated a few Yellowtails.
In the afternoon we ran in a completely different direction for the Muttons. We knew how slow it was where we tried them on the first trip and weren't gonna go there again. We only fished for about 3 or 4 hours but we loaded the cooler with Muttons, Mangrove Snapper, Lane Snappers, and one Yellowjack. The bite was pretty consistent and we had a fish hooked up every few minutes. The tide and the wind were working together and it allowed us to fish an area that was holding a lot of fish
