It was non stop action all day. After catching live pinfish and ballyhoo, I anchored into a ship wreck in 175 ft of water about 7 miles south of Key West. I put 2 live ballyhoo on the surface and fired 3 lines down to the bottom with fresh strips of bonito. We got 6 blackfin tuna, 4 big mutton snapper, 2 sailfish, small sharks, barracuda and 5 bonito. The 2 sailfish hit at the same time. We released the anchor using a float ball so that we could chase the fish to avoid getting our reels spooled. One broke the leader along side the boat and the other was brought in for a quick picture. Both were safely released. This is why I love to anchor in deep water. 15 to 20lb snapper on the bottom and sailfish and tuna on the surface, the best of both water columns
