3 sail fish

3 sail fish

Yesterday we fished a full day on the edge of the reef. My first and only stop was in 30ft. At this spot I was going for some live ballyhoo and some keeper yellow tail wile waiting for the bait to get close. Within minutes of anchoring up I threw the cast on some ballyhoo. As i was pulling in the net a sail fish swam right behind the boat. We quickly pitched a live bait out and hooked hem up. We dropped the anchor and got on top of the fish. After a quick picture the sail was safely released. I got back on my spot and and started fishing for yellow tail. Not 10 min later another sail chasing bait right beside the boat. I pitched a ballyhoo right to hem. second Sail hooked up !!! Again dropped anchor and headed for deeper water. As we were fighting the sail my 1st mate Sean put another ballyhoo behind the boat looking to double up. 5 minutes in to the fight another sail hit the bait. 3rd sail hooked up!! After safely releasing the sail fish I got back on anchor and we caught our limit of yellow tail snapper, a 30lb king fish, 2bar gacks, 4 big cero macks and pulled the hook on another sail
