Two Trips Of Non Stop Action

Two Trips Of Non Stop Action

Today we fished two trips. The first one was a four hour geared just to catching sharks and oh man did we catch sharks. It started off hot and didn't let up one bit, in fact it got even hotter. Every bait in the water was eaten in under a minute and sharks were hooked up, sometimes two at a time. All the sharks were Blacktips around 55-60 pounds. We were fighting the fish on light tackle and watching them jump made for an awesome battle and show. We ended that trip by catching and releasing a 7 foot Hammerhead.

Our next trip was in search of good eating fish, and we couldn't have filled the cooler with anything better...Yellowtail. We started off the trip on the move trolling dead Ballyhoo looking for Mahi Mahi, Tuna, and Wahoos. After only hooking and putting one Tuna in the cooler we switched up and started Yellowtailing. Most of the tails were monsters and we ended up limiting out at 30. Also we hooked too Amberjacks over 40 pounds.
