Cobia and Snappers

Cobia and Snappers

Today we started off Yellowtailing on a wreck in 85 feet of water. The bite was hot and it didn't take long for us to get close to our limit. With enough fish in the cooler and some extra room for more Snapper in our bag limit (10 per person) we moved out to a wreck in 190 feet. The bite was pretty consistent here catching a few Muttons and losing a few to the 400 pound Goliath Groupers that live on the ship. We also caught and release an 80 pound Black Tip Shark that ate a Bonito head. The coolest part of the day was the back to back Cobia that we caught fishing live pinfish on the bottom. Both were of legal size and both ended up in the fish box
